Yet there is something to be said for the comfort of what learners are familiar with, that is, receiving their training in a traditional classroom environment.
Classroom training provides its own distinct set advantages over e-learning such as focused environment, access to experienced instructors, and face-to-face interaction.

2. Synchronous Online Learning
The technology that may bridge the biggest gap between traditional and electronic means of learning is perhaps the synchronous online platform. Without leaving one’s desk, both learners and instructors can attend real-time, virtual instructor-led sessions.
Participants can receive course materials prior to the session for review and preparation, and can then engage in a group session that offers many aspects available in a traditional classroom environment. Such aspects include real-time dialogue, individual or group exercises, presentation, shared screen objects, white boarding, and the like.
