Jeff Wessinger, President, Skura Corporation, Products Division, will lead the Skura workshop team at eyeforpharma’s eCommunication & Online Marketing conference Oct 23 and 24 2008 Boston, Mass.

The goal of Closed-Loop Marketing (CLM) is to explore, explain, and influence physician decision-making. Despite hundreds of studies on the efficacy of certain drugs, little effort focuses on exploring the physician’s decision in making a specific drug choice.

In the first half of the workshop, discussions center on the adoption of a CLM solution to enhance the execution of key brand management and sales management activities in today’s rapidly evolving hyper-competitive market.

In the second half, “Channel Mix Optimization (CMO)”, listed in Gartner’s Cool Vendor report March 2008, will be demonstrated. This discussion will focus on how to capture the data required for better understanding of the performance of sales/marketing channels.

Participants in this workshop will leave with:

    • An understanding of the strategic, tactical, and financial impact on brand revenue performance that CLM offers.

    • An awareness of how managing customers differs from managing products – through functional activities and performance metrics.

    • An explanation of the features, advantages, and benefits of CLM in managing customers and competing in a hyper-competitive therapeutic category.

    • How CMO uses the most sophisticated predictive modeling and machine learning technologies to predict the most effective promotional channels.
